1. SCHEDULES

All times in the timetable are local. Times shown in your ticket, timetables or elsewhere are not guaranteed and do not form a part of the contract of carriage. BULGARIA AIR will not be liable for errors or omissions in above publication. Schedules are subject to change without notice.

 

2. RESERVATIONS

Should you want to change your travel plans, please let us know in time so that we can make the seats available again. In case of a no show, BULGARIA AIR reserves the right to cancel all connecting and return bookings. The time limit for reconfirmation on BULGARIA AIRís European international flights is 48 hours prior to departure, and for transatlantic and intercontinental flights - 72 hours. Failure to comply with it will result in cancellation of the reservation.

 

3. TICKETING TIME LIMITS

Please enquire about time limits for purchase or validation of your ticket at our office, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled.

 

4. STOPOVER

You make break your journey at a scheduled stop or connecting point provided you should give notice to this effect when you make the reservation or when purchasing your ticket. Hotel costs at such a stopover are at your expense.

 

5. VALIDITY AND REFUND

A ticket issued at the normal fare is valid one year from the date of commencement of flight or if no profit of the ticket is used from the date of issue thereof. A ticket issued at other than the normal fare involves restricted booking and validity conditions with little or no refund in the event of change or cancellation. Claims for refund for unused tickets on international services are to be submitted in writing to the Carrier not later than 30 days after the date of expiration of the ticketís validity.

 

6. AIR FARES All

fares and rates are subject to change at any time without notice. There are various discounts applicable under certain conditions, such as for infants up to 2 years of age (90%), children from 2 to 12 (33%), young people, students, group travels.Carriage of unaccompanied children is subject to special regulations.

 

7. YOUR BAGGAGE

7.1. FREE baggage allowance

For international travels (except USA/Canada) on BULGARIA AIR sectors the free baggage allowance in Economy class is 20 kg, in Business class - 30 kg. Adults and children over 2 years of age are entitled to a free baggage allowance consisting of 2 checked pieces, each one not larger than 158 cm, i.e. the sum of 3 dimensions (length, width, height) should not exceed 158 cm. The maximum weight of any piece in the free baggage allowance is 32 kg. In addition to the free checked baggage, adults and children over 2 years may carry one piece of hand baggage not heavier than 10 kg and whose dimensions do not exceed 115 cm. For infants and children under 2 years there is ? free baggage allowance, infantís carrying basket and baby food for the flight.

 

7.2. ADDITIONAL FREE baggage items

On all international flights the following objects may be taken free of charge as additional hand baggage: a ladies hand bag or pocked book, an overcoat or wrap, an umbrella or a walking stick, a small camera, a paid of binoculars, a reasonable amount of reading material, a fully collapsible wheelchair and/or a pair of crutches. These articles are carried under the care and responsibility of the passenger.

 

7.3. EXCESS BAGGAGE

Baggage exceeding the free allowance may be transported as excess baggage; the charge is following: - to Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Stockholm, Tel Aviv is 7 Euro per kg - to Madrid, Lisbon and Barcelona - 9 Euro per kg - to Rome, Zurich, Vienna and Milan- 5 Euro per kg - to Moscow and Praga - 4 Euro per kg The excess baggage can be transported also as unaccompanied baggage (cargo) at a reduced rates. 8. BAGGAGE AND YOUR SAFETY

For your personal safety and flights security do not accept for carriage articles which are not your own. Special regulations apply to the transportation of animals, weapons and dangerous food (firearms; compressed gases: aerosol sprays, oxygen bottles; explosives: fireworks, ammunition; flammable solids and liquids: fuel, alcohol, strike anywhere matches; corrosive substances; oxidizing and radioactive materials; poisons and tear gases; mercury and magnetized materials). Medicines and toilet articles for use during the journey are excepted from these restrictions. Please place the following articles in your baggage which will be carried in the luggage compartments of the airplane: all types of knives and scissors, nail files and other sharp articles, toys resembling weapons and articles which can be used as offensive. You are requested not to use Electronic devises on board of your flight, as it may affect the flight instruments.

 

9. AIRPORT REGISTRATION

You are kindly requested to arrive at the check-in location of the airport at least one hour prior the scheduled departure. This is necessary for the timely completion of the different formalities related to your journey. When travel begins from an airport in Bulgaria, the check-in deadline is 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. In case you report after the latest check-in time BULGARIA AIR can not guarantee your check-in and embarkation and will not be liable for the negative results of your delay.

 

10. DOCUMENTS

BULGARIA AIR will provide information regarding the documents required for your journey (passport, visas, health certificates, etc.), but you must ensure personally that these documents are in order, because you alone are responsible for the consequences of any irregularity.
